Getting Out of Debt

Regardless of how or why you got into debt, at some point you need to take action to clear your debt and get your life back on track. There are a number of ways you can get out of debt:

Know Your Consumer Credit Law

A little known fact to most debtors is that most credit card agreements [and loan agreements] are unenforceable.

What that means is, regardless of how much bullying and threatening letters or visits you receive, the credit card company or loan company cannot enforce your debt agreement in Court. This applies to most credit or debt agreements before April 1, 2007.

The key to getting out of debt fast is knowing your rights in terms of your local consumer credit legislation and how loan and finance, as well as credit card companies recover unpaid debt.
